Dear Monday [7.30.12]

hello. Sorry I haven't been blogging. We have to get everything ready for this upcoming deployment. Anyone who's dealt with one knows there is lots of paperwork and getting things situated in the time before. Today's blog post is going to be simple. Dear Monday: I'm not really liking you today. I spent my morning getting powers of attorneys and the like before rob leaves. Next monday needs to take it really easy on me. it'll be a rough few days. Lots going on :(

Dear Caylee: I'm so not ready for your first ever open house in two days. and your first day of preschool in a week. Slow down my little girl. Mommy isn't ready for her baby to grow up. 

Dear Mommy Hips and inner tube on my stomach: GO AWAY! I want to fit in my cute clothes!!! and not working out would be amazing lol

Dear Friends: [you know who you are] thanks for dealing with me at my worst the last week or so. It'll probably only be worse when he leaves for a few weeks but I'll get back to normal again. i don't know what i'd do without each of you <3 

Dear Army: My husband leaves soon. I'd like some time with him before that so please stop working him so late every night this close to him leaving. 

Dear Robert: our time together is passing so quickly. It hurts my heart to think of an entire year without you again. It hurts even more that you have to miss Corey's life at the same time you missed Caylee's. I will miss you with every ounce of my being but I will be strong- because of you and because of my babies. I can't wait to get this crap started because the sooner you go the sooner you come back home to me... I love you Mr. Amazing. forever and always times infinity plus 2 =] 

I'm Back.

So I gave in. I missed my followers. I missed blogger. I have so much to blog about right now. I've had writer's block for months now. I don't want my first blog post in forever on here to be all Debby Downer so I will just catch you all up on a few things.

Clearly, my blog has been redesigned and is still under construction. Hopefully it will be finished in the next few weeks or so thanks to my wonderful friend Melissa. who is making the banner and has done most of the design. and the work i've done on the graphics =]

We're dwindling down to a very very very SHORT amount of time until Rob deploys. I'm hanging in there but it's rough.

Caylee will be 4 on the 1st and starts preschool 5 days later. She's struggling very badly with Rob getting ready to leave. I worry for her when he actually does leave. I pray that preschool will help her cope. She's doing great at being a big sister. She loves Corey so freaking much! She even tries to feed him baby food and any time he cries- she goes out of her way to make sure he gets happy again.

Corey is now almost 7 months. He weighs 18 pounds and is almost a whopping 27 inches long! He's massive! He loves to eat. The boy can down a jar of stage 2 baby food then eat a 6 to 8 ounce bottle. He is trying very hard to crawl. He's always so happy. He has one tooth [the bottom right] already and has SEVERAL more coming in. He started saying MOMMA like crazy a few weeks ago! He's very vocal and completely obsessed with his big sister and our new puppy. He definitely loves his daddy too. He sits up by himself for a really long time and loves to stand and bounce! He's in 12, 18 and some 24 month clothes.

As for me, I've been struggling. But that's for a post for another day. I'm managing. There's been a lot on my plate and I am trying to be strong. I've got a really good support system so I keep trying to remember that. Well the next few weeks will be crazy so I will do my best to post as much as possible! How I didn't lose all of you in my switch! lol
